Brad Paisley graces the front page of Music.com in 2001 designed
largely by Mike Hetman. Music.com, an online music company, featured
downloadable music, current music news, album reviews, viral marketed
animated e-cards, artist interviews and served as a promotion tool
for many new artists. Mike's work at Music.com included being a
key player in the design of three successful relaunches of its own
web site and of artist promotion sites for Henry Rollins, Danzig,
Jill Sobule, Serge Lopez, Paul Overstreet, R.L. Burnside and SClub7.
Mike also created promotional sites for Samhain's retrospective
boxset and the Music.com sponsored Ecstasy tour for Lou Reed. Using
Flash, Mike independently created e-cards for Willa Ford's single,
"I Wanna Be Bad" and Placebo's "Special K".
Collaborating with co-worker David Hatchard saw the creation of
an e-card for Ray-J's "Wait a Minute" featuring Lil' Kim.
Music.com ceased operations in June 2001 and a smaller scale version
of the site is maintained by Zed Interactive.
